Right Start is all about giving underprivileged children, opportunities to discover their talents. The children we are serving, will be trained and empowered to be creative and productive citizens of this country.

We are now renovating and preparing Right Start Center in 2nd West Crame, so that we can continue our programs for the kids and their parents in that community.

You can be a part of what we are doing :)

I wrote this song inspired by the last fb status of my friend Adrian Fullon before he died in January 2012.

Healing

Last Thursday, I attended a small group meeting at the house of our friend/mentor Atty. Banjo. He invited Pastor Hiram Panganiban of Church so Blessed to share God’s Word that night.

He talked about the story in Mark 7:24-30 about this woman who has a child, possessed by a demon. She begged Jesus to heal her daughter, but Jesus told her that it is not right to take the food from the children and throw it to the dogs. Jesus told that because the woman was a Gentile and not a Jew..but instead of being offended with what Jesus said, she hungered and begged for the hope coming from Jesus, by saying, that even the dogs are allowed to eat the scraps from the children’s plates.” With this declaration, she showed her faith and hunger for Jesus…and because of that her daughter was healed..and the demon gone.

The amazing thing was, that the woman didn’t just receive the scraps..but received the food from Jesus as she hungered for Him. Bein healed is not a crumb..it’s a bread/food from Jesus.. You see, hunger humbles us. Hunger gives us the children’s bread..Hungry people will always find the presence of God :)

Pastor Hiram shared his walk with God, and how he witnessed God’s amazing power of miracles and wonders as he continue to walk in faith, hunger for God’s presence and pray for the sick. Because of a child-like faith, empowered by God’s Spirit and mandate that we are commissioned to pray for the sick and cast out demons, a lot of people that he prayed for got healed.

After the small group, I approached him and asked to be prayed because of a lump in my tongue. I had this lump for 3 months now, and it is painful and gives me a hard time to eat and talk. He laid his hand on me, and by the power of the name of Jesus, he commanded the lump to dry up and be gone. He cursed the lump as reference to what Jesus did on the fig tree in the story in Mark11. After that, I felt a heat in my tongue, and I imagined something inside being burnt. I tasted a bit of blood, then I felt like my tongue flattened. I just screamed and said “Wala na”..I’m a bit teary-eyed coz I’ve experienced God’ healing..

Jesus name exudes power. He is the same now and forever. He still heals..and performs miracles. His name is above every name. Names of different sickness/diseases will bow down to the name of Jesus.. Amazing name of Jesus should be revered and honored.. Thank you Jesus for healing me :) :) :)

Had a wonderful time with a very inspiring woman Pastora Leah Valino of Ever Increasing Church in Nueva Ecija.

I met her last April 6 because Yeng and I were invited to share our testimony in front of 20,000 people in Nueva Ecija. Pastora Leah shared and explained in detail the great exchange that took place in the cross. It was a very powerful night. Thousands of people surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ :) See photos :) of the event

Balik tayo sa lunch kanina…grabe in just an hour of chatting with Ptra Leah, I was inspired, empowered and learned sooooooo much. She shared to me and Yeng about her walk with God..and the things she have learned a long the way. Di ko lang makuwento dito…grabe super dami e..pero here are some of the things she said that made an impact on me.

- I am on an assignment :) ( She texted me this last Thur…It is good to be reminded that the reason I’m here on earth, is because God has an assignment for me… :) true success is when you were able to fulfill the purpose that God has for your life) :) kaya yun ang nilagay ko sa twitter bio ko :) hehe

- “One conversation with God can change the season of your life”… (very true..when God spoke to me in my heart, I was never the same again..wasak talaga! ) :)

- She quoted scriptures and it’s principles like: “For a seed to become a tree, it must die and be burried” ( sobrang alam ko to..hahaha kasi I’m still experiencing it now..I need to die to myself..so I can grow..bear fruit…and the fruit will have more seed…then eventually you’ll become a forest! )

I remember my mentor also told me..when you share the gospel to one soul..and if he/she receives it…you are not actually just affecting one person…but ONE GENERATION!! because it will impact her/his family..then his society…and also his/her children…

INSIDE OF YOU IS A FOREST!!!!!!

I’m so empowered to share the love of Jesus!! :)

So blessed to have people surrounding me who would tell you the truth..and would empower you to make a difference in your world…

How are you? Are the people around you tell you what you need to hear? or what you want to hear? Do they lead you to Jesus…or…..? .. I really hope that all of us would find people that would give us wisdom :) Find those people :) :)

We are part of a non-profit organization called RIGHT START that desires to give underprivileged Filipino children an opportunity to have a right start in life through ‘after-school programs.’ Programs that would help them know their self worth and interests; Classes that would tap their natural talents-hone, train and develop it in a home environment where they can enjoy being a kid.
