Every year is a new season..a new page in my story book.. There are triumphs..new beginnings but there are also goodbyes and letting go.   And as I say goodbye 2011 and expect great things on 2012, here are my highlights for this year.

1. KAMAGONG FAMILY.

Last January, we moved in to a new place in Antipolo.  In a unit at Kamagong street.  Never did I expect that I’ll find a new family with these new neighbors in our compound :)

2. SESA.

A project group with Yeng, Karmi, Julie and Edrei.  Wrote a song “Umalab Ka” with a music video produced by Every Nation Productions that was used in a youth gathering called “Ignite” in Cuneta Astrodome

3. EUROPE TRIP.

With our 2 kids ,$200 and few singapore dollars in Danny’s pocket given by our neighbor, we were able to go to Singapore, stayed 1 week in Netherlands and 6 days in Paris, passed by Belgium then stayed in London, Newcastle, and toured Scotland..and was able to return that $200 to our neighbor untouched :) An almost FREE holiday! God is indeed awesome!

Thanks to the van Ommen family for blessing us with this trip.  Thanks to my dear friend Liza and her family for the Paris trip (for letting us stay in the villa at Marriott resort) ; Thanks to my sister Teresa for letting us stay in Newcastle; and Kuya Allan for driving us to Scotland.  Thanks to May, and to Danny’s friends for touring us ..and for letting us crash in their place in Singapore.

4.  RIGHT START.

The Non-profit organization that we started just this year headed by Arlene Sy and Annabella Yu was able to do more than we expected. Right Start aims to provide underprivileged children opportunities for them to have a right start in life.  Though it is just a new organization ans was just registered early this year, Right Start was able to do so many things for the kids  in a community in San Juan.

a. Reading Program

b. Feeding Program for the kids

c. Life Skills training for the moms wherein the moms were trained and taught good nutrition, first aid, parenting, and budgeting.

d. Relief Operations for Bulacan and Cagayan de Oro due to the storm Pedring and Sendong.

e. Medical Mission

f. Love Tank (Right Start gave away noche buena groceries, and toys for 45 families in Brgy Corazon de Jesus.  Thank you to all those who donated )

5. SHARE AND TESTIFY.

Just this year I was able to speak, sing and share my testimony of how God worked in my life to thousands of young people.  At the Dome in Tacloban City , twice in Cuneta Astrodome; and hundreds of students and young professionals in a number of organizations I was invited to. It is a privilege to be able to inspire these younger generation with God’s word and empower them to be the person that God has called them to be.  I was also given an opportunity to train leaders in Victory GenSan about what the heart of worship is.  Sharing something that I love to do is so fulfilling. Thank you Lord for that opportunity.

6. LEFT MY CORNERSTONE FAMILY AND JOINED PINWHEEL.

I left my previous management after I came back from Europe.  Don’t worry, nothing bad happened. It’s a new season for me with my music.  I thank God for Patty Malay for crossing our paths.  I was not looking for a manager but then she was there at the right time at my friend’s place..not even knowing that she manages artists..haha.. :)

7.  VICTORY GROUP/ FRIENDS AND NEW FRIENDS.

I thank God for my spiritual family.  I’ve learned a lot, cried and laughed a lot…prayed a lot…and was blessed A LOT!! :)

8.  YESHI’S FIRST BIRTHDAY.

Yeshi now walks, stands and pooh in the toilet :) what a milestone!!! hahaha!!! :)

………….There are so much more to be thankful for!! Thank you Lord for the LIFE that you gave so I can have an abundant LIFE!!!!
